Join Hannah Wendel Griffey, MS, CCC-SLP, for an insightful session on the impact of stress in aphasia and its effects on communication and overall well-being. This course will provide psychoeducation on maladaptive coping strategies to avoid, while introducing practical and adaptive approaches to managing stress effectively. Participants will explore evidence-based techniques for healthy coping, including streamlined strategies for daily life as well as holistic methods such as mindfulness, yoga, and spirituality.


Hannah Wendel Griffey, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist and researcher specializing in aphasia and the emotional challenges that come with it. As a PhD candidate at Georgia State University, her work focuses on understanding stress, anxiety, and coping strategies in people with aphasia and their caregivers.
